Pure Pawsome pet first aid kit

Be prepared to help your pet when accidents happen wherever you are with the Pure Pawsome pet first aid kit. Put together by our very own vet nurse! This kit includes everything you need to treat your pet when injuries happen.

Includes:

✅ Cotton wool bandage X3

✅ Conforming bandage X3 

✅ Vetwrap X3 (colour varies)

✅ Adhesive dressing x6 (2 small, 2 medium, 2 large)

✅ Leucillin spray to clean wounds

✅ Manuka honey to aid wound healing 

✅ Tick hooks in 3 sizes

How to use:

Firstly clean/flush the wound with leucillin spray. Next apply some Manuka honey to the appropriate size dressing and place onto the wound. For minor wounds this maybe enough. For larger wounds or ones that need extra protection (on paws for example) proceed to bandage the wound.

To place a bandage firstly apply a cotton wool layer to pad the wound and prevent the top layers from rubbing. Next apply the conforming (elastic) bandage. Be careful not to apply too tightly. You should be able to get a finger in the bandage.

Next apply the Vetwrap layer. Again be careful not to apply too tightly. Pull the Vetwrap out and lay it on. Again you should still be able to get a finger into the bandage.

Bandage tip - bandage over the joint above to anchor the bandage and prevent it from slipping. For example if the wound is on the paw bandage above the carpus/hock (wrist/ankle)

Reapply the dressing after 3 days if required.

If you notice any redness, swelling or discharge from the wound or the wound is not healing or is older than 6 hours before it can be cleaned or you have any other concerns contact your vet.

For ticks hook the tick hook under the tick and twist until the tick let's go. Do not pull the tick off as the jaws can get left behind and lead to infection. Consider further tick treatment incase more ticks are hiding on your pet and to prevent more ticks from jumping onto your pet.

Returns

Any problems with purchases must be notified within 48hrs via email for a full refund.

We cannot take back damaged or defrosted frozen items.
