I qualified as a Vet Nurse in 2011 and after a few years decided I wanted to use my skills and knowledge in helping animals before they end up in the vets!

After the loss of our cat Fozzy at the age of only 7 to heart and kidney disease, after being fed what I thought at the time was the best food (a certain popular brand dry food that a lot of vets recommend) my mindset completely changed and kibble went out the window and I discovered raw feeding with the help of my student nurse. She convinced me that my pets would be healthier and she was right. Our dog Goose struggled with tummy upsets on kibble and within 3 days on raw her tummy was better than ever We continued to see more and more benefits until we decided all our pets are going on raw.

This is the best decision I ever made. Pancakes is now 10 and is competing in agility and flyball. Our dogs are so happy and healthy and I want to help other people with their pets so they can see the same benefits.

I'm always learning and finding new healthy products to help our pets health and behaviour. I try and stay away from veterinary drugs as much as possible and try to use natural remedies. A lot of the drugs given by vets are toxic to pets and our environment (especially the flea and worm treatments) and I'm trying to help people use as little as possible. This is why I started Pure Pawsome!
